PRIVACY POLICY
Effective October 7, 2026. This policy covers serverroomarcade.com (this site). It is operated by Richard Lucht, an individual in the United States. Contact: hello@serverroomarcade.com.
THE SHORT VERSION
This site has no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no ads. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and doesn't track you across sites. We don't sell or share personal information.
WHAT THIS SITE COLLECTS
We don't collect personal information. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and basic request details (such as browser type and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
ANALYTICS
To see how many people visit and which pages they use, every page (including the games at /play/) loads Cloudflare Web Analytics. When a page loads, it sends Cloudflare the page address, the site that linked you here, your browser and operating system, screen size, page load timing and your approximate country, which Cloudflare derives from your IP address. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint your device and does not store your IP address. We only see totals, never individual visitors. Cloudflare's Web Analytics overview and privacy policy explain more.
If you'd rather not be counted, a content blocker that blocks static.cloudflareinsights.com stops it; the site works the same either way.
THE GAMES
Packet Quest and Uptime Quest are hosted on GitHub Pages (rtlucht.github.io), a separate website. When you play, GitHub processes your IP address to serve the game under the GitHub Privacy Statement. Your progress, settings and local leaderboard are saved in your browser's local storage for that site. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. To delete it, clear site data for rtlucht.github.io in your browser; clearing data for serverroomarcade.com does not affect it.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply. Ask us to delete your messages at any time.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Because we don't hold personal data from site visits, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, email hello@serverroomarcade.com and we will tell you what we have and delete it on request. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals need no action from us: the analytics above count page views in aggregate and don't track individuals or sell data.
CHILDREN
The site and games are made for a general adult audience working in IT and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
CHANGES
If we add advertising, this policy will be updated before it goes live, including who receives data, which cookies are used and how to opt out, and you will be asked for consent where the law requires it. The effective date at the top always shows the latest version.
